‘The Interceptors’ follows a hand picked and highly trained, team of Police officers tackling serious crime. Their remit: To deny criminals the use of the roads. Using the most powerful rally cars in the world as marked police vehicles (Evo VIIIs and Suburau Imprezas), they are a force to be reckoned with.
EPISODE 1
The first show features a high octane 140mph car chase of a known heroine dealer, which ends in five police cars being rammed as the suspect vehicle is forced to a halt. Across the county, a wanted burglar is chased off road, before crashing his car into the front of a neighbour’s house. After making off on foot, he is finally dragged out of an attic live on camera. The elite Interceptors also uncover a £50,000 stolen digger hidden in the bowels of a juggernaut in a lorry park, and with a touch of humour another team hunting for dumped drugs end up with a suspect in custody, but nothing more than dog dirt on their hands.
